My bf and I want to rent a place together. I am working full time earning 550 take home pay weekly. He is on disability and working part time about 20 hrs minimum wage. We will be registered with RTB. With regards to his disability will that be deducted a lot if we move in together? Would he be better off staying living at home?

He will lose all his disability allowance as between his wages of 200 and your gross wages of around 600 you will be considered as having the means to take care of yourselves.

Just found out this morning he will be working full time job, just has to wait for garda vetting on the job. Now that that worry is out of the way for tax purposes are you treated as single when cohabiting? I find your answers v straightforward on here, thanks!

Yes you are treated as two single individuals for tax purposes.
