Any Volvo driver in here ,

Iv been looking at getting a new car and have come across a 2013 Volvo s 60 1.6 diesel R design with the D2 engine.

Its got low mileage and i'd be importing it from the england, so it'll cost me around 10 grand which seems like a decent deal .

Anyone got any reviews or any knowledge on that particular model like are they nice to drive or do they give trouble ,

Are you saying it’s the 1.6 diesel?

Are you after any particular spec in them?

I would go for the 5 cylinder 2.0 over the 1.6 every time. It’s a lovely engine.
The 1.6 is the Ford/PSA unit, albeit in improved 8 valve form.

Problem is you won’t get many nice 2.0 R Designs within budget.

The cars themselves don’t seem to give trouble, and if you’re willing to sacrifice the R Design spec, you could easily land a later 4 cylinder D4 2.0 which is a stormer of a car for its engine size, along with 99g/km emissions.

    Consider the V60 as well.

Go up North, plenty of them there. Definitely 2.0l or 2.4, wouldn't touch 1.6.
