    2.50 Pontefract, Three Fans, around 6/5'ish now, max win bet for me.

    3.10 Bath, Ramatuelle around 4/1 backed to win

    Jesus i was sure that Mulvany's horse would be clear fav in the next. 5/1 seems a bit mad. Had a smallish bet on it.

    *Was 3rd in a better looking race in Galway from out of the handicap. Runs off the same mark. Looks to have a clear chance.

    If only all 5/1 shots were so glaringly obvious at the time of looking.

    Nice shout Hugh.i backed bear claws in the last at Sligo. still a maiden but has caught the eye a few times when hasn't got the rub of the green in running including last time at Down Royal. He was third off level weights to Shared Ambition over this trip three starts back in a maiden. That horse now rated 96 after winning a conditions race down at Killarney. looks big at 16s
