I have a mid-terrace house in Kildare. I'd love 1 or 2 skylights upstairs. Could anyone give a ballpark figure of how much skylight fitting, construction etc would cost?

    .
    Front (planning) or back?
    Is attic converted?
what do you mean by a skylight?
    Does it need to open?
    Would a solar tube work?

If its a velux window it's a bout 300-600 per unit depending on size. that includes the window, the flashings and the fitting.

Back of the house. Attic isn't converted. By skylight, I'm talking about the velux job. Ideally would need to open (a remote one would be ideal) to let some fresh air in. I actually have a solar tube and it's that I'd like to replace.
