Would there be anywhere that would buy/recycle a 2007/2008 laptop for cash?

Just wondering if a Sony VAIO VGN-NW26M would still be worth anything nowadays? Bought it for a fair bit of money back in the day so thought it'd be a shame if it was worth something (even for parts) and I threw it out.

Nearly all of the parts would be outdated now. Clear the hard drive and perhaps donate it to a charity shop.

Lots of us reuse old stuff like that ...... for instance as a media server running Linux.
But it is not worth anything really, except the use that could eked out of it.

Even the charity shops dont take electrical things anymore.

It would probably not have enough ram to run a modern Windows.
Maybe put it up for 20 or30 euros or something on adverts?
Power supplys got to be worth 10 euros alone.

Make sure you run killdisk or sell/dispose without the drive.
