Just heard the sad/bad news that West End Cycles, Ballincollig, is to close down at the end of the month. Great shop for aftersales service, and I bought my last 3 bikes there. Apparently the owner, Noel Holmes, wants to try something else as he ran the shop for the last 30-odd years. Good luck to him in whatever his new…

Just heard the sad/bad news that West End Cycles, Ballincollig, is to close down at the end of the month. Great shop for aftersales service, and I bought my last 3 bikes there.
Apparently the owner, Noel Holmes, wants to try something else as he ran the shop for the last 30-odd years.
Good luck to him in whatever his new project might be.
A double blow for me personally as Con's Barber Shop closed recently so I'm looking for a new barber as well.
Why is it always the good ones? :mad:

That's a shame, I remember years back my mother bringing me there to pick out my first bike for £50.
