Bosch oven - self cleansing feature

Just wondering if any one out there has had any bad experience with the above. We have a 20 month old Bosch oven which we have used the self cleanse feature twice. Once about 6 months ago and again last night. Everything went fine the first time but last night after the second time when I went to ‘remove the burnt off residue’ about a half hour after the cycle had completed I noticed to my utter disgust that the inner glass on the oven door had cracked and broken. A couple of questions......

    1. Is this covered by warranty, supppsed to have
    24 month guarantee ?
    2. Is oven useable with out the inner glass
    3. Has anyone else had a similar experience

This happened about ten pm last night so haven’t been able to contact Bosch’s call Centre yet. Will be doing so later today.

Shouldn't happen and definitely a warranty issue.
It's not a good idea to use it without the inner glass.

I would get on to the shop you purchased it from too. 20 months is not a reasonable time for the oven to malfunction and the glass cracking is unacceptable. Between the reseller and manufacturer, they will have to replace it for you.

Contact the shop you purchased it from it will more than likely be a service call from Bosch who will call out and replace the glass doubtful it will be replaced but should be straightforward service call
