    Hi there,

I've recently read about the impossible burgers launched by burger King in America that have 0 meat 🥩 and are completly plant based. These look so real and they even bleed like real meat when cooking 🥩😔..

Would you feel safe eating this just because it's approved by the food safety authority.? How can it bleed?? Maybe the Impossible Burgers are just that!!

    What's your thoughts!?

    It's obviously been genetically modified..

    Soy leghemoglobin.

In years to come they’ll probably discover that it causes cancer.

It has been approved by the FDA in the states where it is classified as a ‘food colourant’.

Probably similar to the No Bull burger which is a bleeder. The "blood" is actually beetroot.

Looking forward to them becoming a bigger deal here. Every little helps when it comes to environment.

I don't need my meat/fake meat to 'bleed' personally. I've no issues with the product itself and I'm a total carnivore, would like to try it personally if it was available..

Would I buy it over a 'normal' burger? Probably depends on the cost and taste. I don't eat many fast food burgers anyway but if the fake stuff is pricier I probably wouldn't be bothered.

I imagine he's inferring that on a large scale production, fake meat would just be as detrimental to the enviroment as moo cows.

Numerous reports online about roundup being found in some of these meatless meat products

Tell us more, how will it help the environment, will there be any negative side effects from it

The most environmental thing you can do is actually eat less, you fat bastards! :)

And still no one has explained to me how eating avocados and quinoa from around the world is better for the environment than beef reared ten miles from my house.

First they came for the socialists...

I'd be surprised if there wasn't traces of glyphosate (one of the brands being roundup) in all food products, it's been used for such a long time on such a large scale.

I wonder if these reports are being funded by Big Meat eh? ;)

Oh I do of course...but we aren't talking about roundup in fruits and vegetables

Pretty sure you'll find trace amounts of pesticides of all varieties on fruit and vegetables.
