Day 1 set up for Smart TV

Hi, I am getting a smart TV for the 1st time tomorrow. Are there any tips for setting it up?
It is a Hisense H50AE6100UK, 50 inch, 4K Ultra HD, HDR, Freeview Play, Smart TV

I will be using a roof aeriel to get Saorview from Mount Leinster & Freeview from Presley I believe (based in wexford). Up to now I had a great Humax box for this - but there would be doubling up of channels after every retune as it picked up a few signals.

Also this should receive Saorview Connect and Freeview Play if I'm lucky - should I be setting my location as UK? Or can such a thing be done?

When I use my android box currently the BBC iplayer and ITV player don't let me view content for the past year or so. Will that mean Freeview PLay will be very limited for me also as I am located in Ireland?

Freeview Play will be blocked due to your Irish internet address. You'll also need a separate box for Saorview Connect.
