    Hi

I hope I am in the right forum here.

I have a dns service and it works fine on my humax freesat box. It also works fine on my kindle fire tablets

However it won't work on either my android phone or android tablet.

The dns service provider reckons it is an ipv6 issue and that it needs to be disabled on the router.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I believe IPV6 can be disabled from the admin page for the F2000
I can't remember where it is exactly and I on longer use that router.

Connect to http://192.168.1.254 and have a look at the settings.

I followed a guide online to deselect it, choosing ipv4 instead of ipv4 + ipv6.

I needed to change a couple of other settings after that under the Home Network tab but it doesn't seem to be on the router page any longer. Eir I think removed it the time they had the big server down issue.

This is the guide I followed.

Edit: I got this sorted. I found the Home Network tab by clicking the arrow at the far top right of the screen.

    Sorted.
