Hitachi Audio Description

    I have a Hitachi 32hb6j61u, but can't seem to turn the audio description off. Looking at the manual, the settings seems to be missing the accessibility option where I should be able to turn off audio description. It only seems to effect certain stations like itv 2/3/4 etc.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Some of the ITV channels (there are a lot of duplicates on FTA) have the Eng & NAR audio streams in reversed positions.

    The last one I recall changing was ITV4+1, which annoyingly always came on with NAR and I had to change the audio stream to Eng.

    I changed the one I was using and all is good since.

    Thanks for that info Johnboy 1951 .... I too have been plagued by 'NAR' on recordings for years. So I just checked all of my ITV channels. Only one has the 'ENG' setting first. ITV on ch 136. All other ITV's (18 of them) are reversed. All ITV2's, ITV3's and ITV4's are reversed - including the Plus 1's. I am using a Hauppauge TV card and WinTV8 .... do you know if that is a factor. Don't seem to get the problem on the Ferguson TV box.
