Podcasts or audio tutorials

Are there any podcasts or audio tutorials, basically anything without a screen that would help me understand electronic music more?

I think you may find it difficult to locate tutorials which are purely audio based. This is because most of them will be using a DAW to show the tutorials in practical terms.

Even learning material for something like synthesis for instance will require pictures to aid with explanations, e.g it would be hard to describe the different waveforms such as sine/saw/square etc without using illustrations.

Personally I find it difficult to follow tutorials on youtube sometimes because I am constantly pausing them and returning to the DAW to follow steps, I find it much easier to have it printed in front of me and to be able to read and explore the DAW at the same time.

I have never come across audio only tutorials but again as I said earlier I think you might struggle to find these as they would be quite limited in the detail they could convey without pictures or illustrations.

Would be happy to be corrected though!

There is an Ableton live music producers podcast on Itunes. It seems to be getting updated more lately. I also like to listen to resident advisor exchange not exactly for tutorials but it does give in depth chats on electronic music life.
