Liability insurance for non-resident

    Hi all,

I am not resident in Ireland but am hoping to exclusively hire a small venue there to get married. The venue require that I sign a contract to indemnify the venue against any claims/costs incurred by myself or any guests and third party suppliers.

I noted many wedding insurance policies available in Ireland which extend public liability insurance. However, none of these are available for a non-resident.

Just wondering if anybody has encountered this or knows how I might get covered? I have travel insurance which has a personal liability element, but this does not cover Contractual Liability.

    Thanks in advance
