Just picked up some Fairy Washing Capsules in Tesco (the better half swears by them) and noticed they were doing a special offer.

The big refillable tub, (55 pods) are priced at €24

    These ones.

But, unbelievably..... You can get 3 X tubs for €25.

So that's essentially buy 1 get 2 free.

Yeah, my Friday evenings are so rock and roll, but anyway thought I'd do my duty and share the bargain.

You beat me to it Johnnydogs I came to share the same bargain, can’t go wrong for that price

I thought it was a misprint at first, couldn't believe it when they scanned in with the €48 saving shown on the scanner. :D

Don't think they'll hang around for long, expect even smaller independent shop owners to be snapping these up.

My local Tesco was cleaned out of them this afternoon when I was in, so hope anyone who wanted some got them.

Dunnes have fairy washing liquid 75 wash for a tenner. This weekend special, usually 14. Include the tenner off fifty euro and it works out as 375 washes for 40 if you buy 5. Cheaper per wash than Tesco but you have the hassle of pouring into the lid.

OK, no-one ever buys washing powder or capsules at full price unless they like throwing money in the bin.

The standard price for these most weeks is €12

It like Harvey Norman or dfs, they are ALWAYS on sale.

Lidl have had a 3x20 capsule pack of fairy for €9.99 for the past few weeks. (16.6c per wash) (and still had up to last Fri in Tallaght)

This offer is 15.2c per capsule.

Not a huge difference. Good value yes, but don't fool yourself into thinking it's a €48 saving.

It actually works out @12.12cents per capsule after using Tesco's tenner off €50

Correct if this is the only item you would buy in Tesco during the validity of the coupon and had one of the coupons.

And remember you paid about €3 for the paper the coupon was in.

I don't sign up to any store loyalty schemes.

But the post was to say it's a good offer, but not a €48 saving or a buy one get two free as the normal price is €12 almost all the time.
