Just in case people are interested in going, the Ballyshannon folk festival is on this weekend http://ballyshannonfolkfestival.com/

Was at the opening event this evening, an art exhibition of Barry Britton's work in the Art Centre, Luka Bloom was there (he's featured on the festival poster) and sang a couple of songs, he was very good and very entertaining; I'm sorry I'm not able to go along to see him tomorrow night, but I'd recommend it to anyone who can.
Hopefully I'll be able to get down one of the nights over the weekend to listen to some of the bands that are playing.
