Has anyone seen the new regulations from the Residential Tenancy Board

    https://onestopshop.rtb.ie/legislation-change

A procession of regulations to restrict landlords rights. No mention of dealing with tenants who don't pay the rent, thrash a property, engage in anti social activity or check if people on HAP scheme are genuinely in need of social housing.
The RTB can no longer pretend to be an unbiased, independent organisation.
The only result of all these changes will be to drive more landlords out of the market

Yup. And landlords are heading to the door in their droves.
Even the inclusion of all the not-for-profit housing associations in the figures is insufficient to mask the overall drop in the numbers of property available to rent (as-in, the overall number of property in the rental sector in Ireland is falling).........

Tenants and politicians have only themselves to blame- landlords are heading to the door..........
