Wedding insurance

    Hi,

Hoping somebody can help. My partner & I are non-resident but will be getting married in Ireland. We have found a venue we both like but must indemnify the venue in order to secure the booking.

I thought this would be quite easy but it turns out that many (if not all!) insurance contracts require you to be resident in the country for at least 6 months before the wedding.

Just wondering if anybody has been in a similar situation? Is it even possible to get wedding insurance as a non-resident?
