is there passport check Heathrow T2 AerLingus ?

    i m travelling to Heathrow via aer Lingus and want to check if there is any passport check for passengers coming from Dublin?

    No there isn't a permanent passport check, however there are intermittent checks at all UK entry points if you have a non EU passport you will be stopped

    If you are not a IE or UK citizen you MUST have a valid passport/EEA ID and visa as applicable

    If you are a IE or UK citizen you must have some form of official ID, drivers licence, student ID etc .

    Doesn't have to be 'official' i.e. issued by a state agency. Aer Lingus will let you board a UK flight with virtually anything that has your photo. And they wouldn't do this if they thought you'd be refused entry in Heathrow as they would have the expense of bringng you back to Dublin.
    • Valid passport or Irish passport card
    • Driver’s licence with photo
    • International student card
    • Government issued photo ID cards
    • Health insurance cards with photo/social security cards with photo
    • Bus pass with photo
    • Work ID with photo
