Alternative to Sling Catcher with Remote

After years of fantastic service my Sling Catcher has finally died. I can can't find a replacement online so was wondering if there is an alternative device/box I can use that has a remote for changing channels? Would Roku do this? The box will be used by the folks so a remote for changing channels is a must. I've tried…

The box will be used by the folks so a remote for changing channels is a must. I've tried Chromecast with mirroring but it is far too complicated for them.
