    Hi all

looking at buying a gen 1.5 leaf.

Budget: id like it to be around 10,000 Euro, less if possible :)
ideally would like the onboard 6.6kw charger, but beggars cant be choosers.

would like one that has potentially 12 bars, but may not be possible with budget and therefore age of car.

There seems to be an awful lot of white and red leafs around this time, not colors I am very fond of (there seems to be 2 versions of the color red, a really bright red one and then another not so bright...the not so bright isn't too bad)

I am looking for the 'Acenta' Spec.

I do not have a car to trade in so at least that's something to my advantage.

From what I read 2nd hand electric cars are going up in price!

    Few cars I noted:

    1. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/nissan-leaf-24-kwh/21891379
on sale for 59 days. Color is red but not a bad shade of it. 50,000km. shows 12 bars. seems unusual it still has 12 bars. its the 'not so bright' red shade. Wonder why on sale so long.

    2. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/nissan-leaf-2014/22355237
looks decent, good price. but only changed hands about a month ago according to motor tax website and corn market. Seller makes out put it in wifes name. only 30,000km but has dropped to 11 bars already (which seems strange based on above car with 12 bars - older and more km)

    3. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/nissan-leaf/22299844
not bad, bit pricey for a private sale maybe, even with the 'price drop' . 61,000 km. 6.6 kw charger! no mention of battery health.

    4. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/nissan-leaf-ev-sv-6-kilow-charg-spo/21281473
Has a 6.6kw charger, 100,000 km or so. high enough mileage. dealer not an EV specialist (not that it would put me off, just a note) Seems to be 11 bars from the picture.

    5. https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2015-nissan-leaf-sv-24kwh-6-6kw-cold-pack/21852479
Has a 6.6kw charger, 100,000 km. high enough mileage. dealer is an EV specialist. 83% state of health. Is this about normal for a 4 year old electric car? Or is it more degraded due to the relatively high mileage?

Any thoughts on any of the above?

Hi.have 151 leaf and I ' m no expert but what I know is this: tekkna is top spec model with leather seats, nicer alloys etc.accenta is mid range with sat nav, rear camera etc.visia is the basic model.I would avoid cars with solar panels on the roof as I remember there was a problem with those.try to find 151 or younger if possible as many if not all 131 are 1st gen version. Always check battery health with Leaf spy lite app. It' s free app in Play Store. You will need an adapter for 20e and usb cable.there is a good selection of Leafs in UK.you will pay no vrt and your car can be delivered for 500e flatbed

Oh ok. Wasn’t aware of the solar panel on the roof and there being problems.

Is the solar panel linked with ‘cold pack’. I.e. does cold pack need the solar panel to work? Or am I completely wrong.

    132 onwards in gen 1.5.

Talk with phil in electric autos Naas

My sister in law dealt with him and he was a bag of knowledge she was happy with the price she got also.

I will hopefully be making the jump to electric soon myself.

I will shortly be selling my 161 gen 1.5 leaf, very low mileage, sv model with additional cold pack, which is a godsend in winter

    Excellent condition
