    The best would be titanium backup, it needs root for most of the advanced functions though.

    What are you wanting to backup? Google does a decent job of backing most things up to the cloud, photos, contacts, apps etc

    Cloning a phone is different from backing it up.
    As said, you can use Google for backing almost everything.
    Some apps will have their own capabilities for backup into the cloud

    Use Google for contacts photos and documents
    Back up any messenger apps to Google drive.
    New phone login on should pull all backup back down from the cloud

    Make sure your apps have finished syncing and the sync has worked. E.g. Google photos, WhatsApp etc

    For SMS and call logs I use SMS Backup and Restore and backup to Google drive

    Huawei has a built in cloning app that you run during phone setup IIRC?
    Its the norm now from manufacturers really.
