I have failed my theory test 7 times!! Yes you read that correctly SEVEN TIMES :( .
No matter what i do i just cant seem to pass. I tried various methods of studying. I tried everything!
What i would like to know is, does anybody have any idea if there is a online study chat room or anything that helps with theory tests?
    Any advice would be great!!
    Thanks in advance!

Are there specific categories that you’re regularly failing to pick up marks in test after test or is it quite random?

I did it recently and failed. I was trying to read through the book but started using the DVD mock test on my computer instead and I find it much easier to learn. When I get a question wrong I make a note of it and now have two pages of questions I know I'm weak on. I'm finding this a much easier way to learn than just poring over the book. Last few times I've done the mock test I've passed.

I actually started doing that as well. Got a notebook and whatever questions i failed on the mock test i wrote down. Nothing is helping though!

I found this website a good help when I was doing my theory test. What I would do is do it once a day every day the best way of getting to be successful at something is do it over and over again.

    http://theory-tester.com/ is good.

Also, get yourself a book that contains all Questions and Answers and just go through them one by one, highlighting the ones that you cannot answer yourself after reading the question.

Do maybe 20 pages of Q&A and get somebody to test you + do the online test simulator now and again. Keep going until you finish the book and until you get 37-38 out of 40 several times in a row on the site mentioned above. Once you pass these simulator tests regularly, it's time to book another test.

My eldest failed twice trying to read the theory book....Then I suggested the above routine which he followed for a month and he passed.

Good luck and don't give up:)
