Concrete floor black in 1945 built house

    I live in a terraced house built in 1945, think solid concrete, the concrete floor under lino in an unused bedroom is black , is this normal pls

    It was probably painted black afterwards as concrete was not black back then and is not black now.The reason could be a damp proof sealant was painted on.If its dry then no need to worry
