Georgian or Clear glass windows?

    hello Folks,

the house has georgian windows which will be staying. There are also 2 georgian windows in the attic at each gable end. All the windows in the house are the same size. Now we have built a very long dormer at back of house. There will be 4 windows in this, wider than high. Thing is, the georgian cost 300 more than the clear windows. I am told by various companies that these are out dated and hence the lange price difference. It would be nice to have georgian to match the ones already there but would it look very out of place if they are clear?

    Thanks

    thanks Calahonda,

apologies as I may have expressed wrongly.
The building is from the 90's and the currant windows are about 9 years old. They are not georgian but rather "fake georgian. That is, they are pvc and simply have the white strip plastic running between the panes of double glaze. You still see them all over the place.

Its the back of the house you'll never see it. I wouldn't worry about consistency you'll not notice from the internal. Personally I dont like the mock Georgian pvc look so while I might live with it if I bought a house with it I certainly wouldn't add to it!
