My Vodafone app offer - Revolut card with free €5 or €10

This offer is in the app today. It says it's for new revolut customers only so I haven't tried the offer out myself. You download the app from the link in MyVodafone, stick a tenner on your free card and they'll add a fiver to it.

I presume if it's the same as any other revolut card you can just transfer the lot to your bank account and never use the card again if you don't want to. It's a handy way to get a free card with a little something on it though.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

6. To redeem the offer, customers enter their phone number and click download. Once installed, the free card and €5 credit is redeemable when a €10 minimum is topped up in their account.

Note the site your sending your number to is a non https site so anyone can see your phone number possibly. No need for this for a commercial site.

Common with Revolut signups. It takes the valid Eircode with the space (iirc)

Good for currency conversions. Good for tracking costs too. Additional security, as the payments don't go near your bank account.

Is there stamp duty on revolut cards?
Just trying to figure out any downside before committing.


Answered my own question via Google
Stamp duty is the same for all debit cards- but it is only 12c charged on ATM withdrawals and is a max of €5 a year.

Still no text after 3 attempts since yesterday. I probably wouldn't have used it as I mainly use credit anyway.

try it but keep the 0 in front of the 08x even though the first section to the left has +353 country code.

So I went to http://www.vodafoneprepaidrevolut.com/ on my laptop put in the number starting with 8 and link came in on my phone then!

You don't have to have a vodafone account for this to work, I'm with 3 and signed up for it and got my credit!
