I finally got a large tesco clubcard today and it came with two small "keyring" cards as well with no explanation of them. Can anyone tell me wtf these are for?

Handy for your wallet or keyring! Do the same thing and I use them all the time!

They are mini duplicates of your clubcard, 'fob' versions, to attach to a keyring etc

Ah okay. That's what I'd have thought, but they write in the letter "just remember to scan them at the checkout".

The first one is a key fob, that you can use as an alternative to the card if you want. The second is a suppository that you use before going to the shop, that activates once you pass the main entrance and alerts you to any special offers that are nearby on the shelves through a mild electric shock

Also, if you put them in water with a pinch of baking soda, they grow into the regular credit card size.

That would be awesome but I don't think Tesco have deployed this advanced tech in my local store so I am always fiddling about for a €1 coin.
