Hi I'm wondering what tv and broadband companies are good in the area. Sky? Virgin? Moving there soon.

Virgin, generally have cable in most, if not all, of Applewood, so you get 360mb BB, and access to plenty of channels, premium sports, movies etc. come at a price. Vodafone sre putting in Gigabit BB in parts of the area over time, Sky and Eircom BB is pretty shoddy in the area, so it depends on how much you care about decent BB speeds versus TV access and pricing.

Thanks a mil. Virgin is obviously more expensive than sky and eircom so. Good to know what is good in the area so can weigh up the options.

Sky sells the Siro service in Applewood now, which is the exact same gigabit service that Vodafone are selling.
