Clonmany Saorview Coverage

    Is anyone else having problems with tbe Saorview signal from the Clonmany Transmitter these last few weeks? Usually either Rte 1 or 2 is gone and some other channels. Several neighbours having the exact same dropout of channels. Phoned Saorview, they say there is nothing wrong. Emailed them as well with more details got no response. All aerial connections are good and cable is good.

    Where is the aerial located though? Are you close to the Clonmany mast? (It's pretty low powered.)

    Have you had problems before? (Some people say 'a few weeks', but when they think for a minute, it's really 'a few years' or 'never was any good'.)

    Within 4km, direct line if sight. Aerial in attic. Was working fine till sometime in June.

    I'd just move the aerial outside. (I'm assuming it's the right type for Clonmany, & mounted for vertical pol.)

    Issues recently with a relay at the other end of Co. Donegal, sounds like one of the two MUXes was affected:
    Service Notification:
