Tempted to sign up for this as I couldnt get a place for Dublin. Cheap flights too. Has anyone ever done it before? Would you recommend it for a first marathon?

Did it last year. Definitely do it.

Flat. Big crowd of supporters. Large field for you to fall in with. Finish is class.

The top is extra, pay for it. Well worth it.

A section of cobblestone twice. One near the end which can be tough but grand. If you are not fussy about hotel we stayed in hotel Bristol or something, less than 2 km from start finish line. Lots of runners stayed there and Italian restaurant across the road.

I am very tempted! Regarding the top, how was the sizing? Never know whether to go medium or large :D

No trouble trying it on. You pick it up the day before at the expo.
