    Hi folks,

I live just outside of the Eir Rural Broadband scheme, however I have been making do happily between my fixed wireless "mom and pop shop" provider (at 8mbs) and "All you can eat data" with 3 Ireland.

Imagine have a brand spanking new transmitter in my area and predictably have been hounding me with an offer of 150Mb for €60-odd a month.

What people experience of this crowd, look I know already 150mb is a ridiculous claim. What I am more interested in, is can they claim to be any better than the LTE offerings from 3 Ireland, Vodafone and Eir?

    Worth €60?

    Ray K

I presume you're aware of the dedicated thread? And just want a fast answer

The new mast should be ok for s few months unless it gets crowded

    Some masts suffer badly
I'm with them 2 and a half years and during the daytime get near 150 mb
But 20 to 40 is more common at peak evening

Other masts are hard set to get 5 to 10 mb
    See the dedicated thread

The daily usage cap kinda cripples it, 20gb a day. I had it, it was ok, no access to the router, it did slow down a lot during peak hours and bad weather. I got very frustrated with the usages limits with two teenagers in the house so got rid, customer service is not great either.

There is an extensive thread on them here

Might be no usage cap but rather a fair usage on

I wasn't to be honest, I only saw the midband forum later.

Well that is still better than your average LTE operator right?
