Why the hell do we do it?!!! And why oh why do I never learn my lesson!
After many years of serious drinking I should know by now that messaging somebody you're into after one too many vino collapso's is NEVER a good idea! There are no exceptions to this rule!
I don't think I've ever woken up and thought, wow I'm so glad I texted Robbie last night and told him how I like him. I bet I came across really well - charming, funny and most of all sophisticated. I have however woken up and thought Nooooooooooooooooooooo... reread the messages and criiiinged!!
This morning was unfortunately one of those mornings. I just hope I haven't ruined it!

Lads, if you liked a girl would you be put off by a drunken text message? The guy in question replied but I still feel like a twat!:(

Honestly, if I like her it won't even matter if the text is totally incomprehensible, it'll just be "OMG, she was that drunk and I was still the person she thought of texting" :D

    Only ever did it once.
Don't they say something about if you receive a text from someone when they're out of it that you should be flattered :D Something about out of all the people in their contact list they drunk dialed/texted you. So don't feel bad :)

I suppose it depends on what was in the message, if it was all "missin you babes, can't wait till our next date" then all good

if it was along the lines of "Bought a strap on recently, can't wait to use it on you" then there might be cause for concern

    Yippee!!

I didn't say anything bad really, was just asking if he could form a band with a bunch of musicians dead or alive, who would he chose. When he answered though I think I had already forgotten the question so start asking what he means... really confused despite it being blatantly clear. Then mid sentence I just stopped writing. Ah vino me aul pal, you never let me down! :pac:

Sometimes that's enough to make a person run for the hills :D:D:D

Assuming this was the guy you were almost paralysed with fear at the thought of texting earlier in the week, I think drunk you probably did you a favour.

Probably be fine but did you text him back at some stage to explain why you stopped texting abruptly.

I thought it was about the lad who arrived up at the house at five in the morning selling bottles of spirits out of the boot of his car

Is Ringo the best drummer in the world ?

Ringo isn't even the best drummer in The Beatles.
