I want to look into (home)brewing beer and wonder if there are specific regulations in Ireland in terms of amounts, if any? Can I share and gift any quantity free of charge to friends and neighbours?

Sources welcome for a good start on the subject , especially from an Irish perspective... Have only watched some YT so far and looking to get one of those home brewing kits for a starting kick.

Possibly better suited to the Home Brewing forum, but to answer your question, there are no restrictions on what you can brew, how much, or what you do with it, as long as you don't sell it, trade it, or otherwise seek to gain from it materially. You may not home distil either.
