I’m looking at a 2016 Leon FR at the minute. It’s due a timing belt around now and was serviced recently.
The selling dealer say they have asked Seat UK for this info but they will not give it to them because of data protection.

Does the touch screen in these cars hold that information. As far as I know it records and displays servicing? Does it go into detail?

Also is there any way of getting this info out of SEAT?
I would assume if I got the dealers name they might be more inclined to share the yes/no info ref timing belt.

Computer in the car doesn't store the history. It's electronic now but an Irish dealer might be able to check.

I’m guessing an Irish dealer mightn’t be too cooperative

Feckers playing the DGPR card, EU should rule that the car history remains with the car and ownership details redacted once vehicle sold. It's anti competitive.
