Monitor blinking

    Hi ,my monitor display is flashing on/off after a couple of hours use

    The green power light is lit the whole time

    Is there any chance its the graphics card?

    It's a basic 24" and a cheap graphics card with HDMI/dvi

    test onboard graphics if present
    test with different cable
    test with different monitor/TV
    test same monitor/cable on different PC/laptop
