How do you make a mug of tea or coffee?
This is assuming you use teabags or loose tea, or coffee granules, and that you take milk and/or sugar as well.

Loose leaf or tea bag? Instant or pod or filter coffee?

Are you asking how to make them or how each of is does it?

Personally it's coffee in a drip filter. Strong Java roast.

Putting milk in before anything else is just weird.

Coffee - milk first then the Tassimo machine does the rest. Two sweeteners.
Tea - Teabag, boiled water and a tiny drop of milk.

Not when you've had most of a cup of milk, then on second thoughts decide to make tea after all.

Everyones done it. Ive seen you do it too, freak.

Yes. I agree. But I've seen it being done.

Scald the mug with boiling water, to take the chill out of it, if you're making tea in it.

Apparently the idea of putting milk in before ground coffee is a way to ensure that the beans don't get that burned taste off them.

Loose leaf tea-I use a strainer or tea infuser, scald the cup first and boil the water if it's for black tea, or take it off the heat before it boils if it's green or herbal.

Tea bags- black tea: barely dunk the bag in then discard. I hate strong black tea.

If I'm making it for more than just myself I'll make a pot of tea with either loose tea or tea bags.

    No milk, no sugar.

I don't drink coffee unless I'm with my partner who has Greek and Turkish coffee, and I sometimes have a cup of that for health reasons. Also no milk or sugar.

    This makes no sense.
Why would pouring coffee into a container that is cooler than the coffee burn it?

teabag - water - stir/squeeze/remove teabag - 1/4 spoon of sugar well stirred - stir as a dash of milk is added - serve

Tea gets made in a pot not a mug.
Tea gets served in a cup not a mug.
    Mugs are for hot chocolate.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Tea drank out of a mug gets made in the mug.
Tea for drinking out of cups gets made in a pot.

My tea is brewed in a pot, and served in mugs, even if it's just for me. Any leftover tea is given to the plants or used to make ice- tea during the summer
And keep that wet white poison well away from my mug, thank you very much.

Tea : Loose leaf made in a pot, strainer used while pouring into a porcelain (not earthenware) mug. Tea is a mix of Barry's gold blend and a little earl grey. No milk, no sugar. Only ever really drink tea when I visit my mother.

Coffee: Mostly double espresso with about a half a teaspoon of cane sugar, in the cup first. No milk.
Sometimes a black americano, no sugar.
