Has anyone ever tried seeing what stations are available across the Irish sea? I should imagine that you get a mixture of BBC and RTÉ along with Manx Radio in Isle Of Man. You'd have to try on a ferry to see. That's going from Rosslare to Wales.

That's one of the few situations where I have never listened to radio! I have heard stations abroad but not while travelling overseas (Irish Sea or otherwise): same applies to planes!

It's an interesting idea which certainly could be put to the test! It would be a particularly interesting experiment to try this with a pocket FM/AM radio (with earphones), rather than going online!

You'll get the full Dublin set more or less in Anglesey. Further in Clermont Cairn frequencies are usually clearer
