USA Dental Nurse Qualifications

    Hello. Just wondering if anyone here has come to Ireland with USA Dental nursing qualifications? if so, was it allowed to take up work with an Irish dentist straight away?

    Hi Wexford96,

    You’ll be able to work straight away. The qualification isn’t mandatory over here. You could ring the dental hospital and ask for one of the dental nurse tutors (from September on) to see if you could get your qualification formally transferred but it won’t affect you getting a job or working.

    Wow, that's wonderful news. So she can simply drop CVs off at dental practices and can legally work in these places immediately if hired?
