N11 Speed limit - Clough/Camolin/Ferns/Enniscorthy

    Now that the M11 has opened around Enniscorthy the "old N11" has been reduced to a Rural Road and hence the speed limit dropped from 100 to 80

    I would never advocate fast or dangerous driving but parts of this road should retain the 100km as it has been for many years because its design and capacity fully support the 100km speedlimit

    Contact the council. Road is not under their control. Auto-defaults to 80 if no intervention. They can apply special speed limits themselves

    Lot of stretches of the old N routes replaced by Mway had an initial 80kmh limit but Councils upped them back up to 100kmh in the better stretches. Poorer quality bits stayed at 80.
