    Hi all,

I have to finally admit that i've lost interest in cycling so i'm thinking about selling my current two bikes and replacing them with a hybrid bike for occasional spins with a kid.

First one is Vitus Energie GR 2016 gravel bike. https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/vitus-bikes-energie-gr-city-bike-2016/rp-prod134322

Size is 55 cm which has an effective top tube length of 570 mm. Geometry can be found here: http://vitusbikes.com/products/energie-gr/#geometry (it is a 2015 model but 2016 has same frame).

    Review is here: http://www.220triathlon.com/gear/bike/vitus-energie-gr-city---bike-review/10684.html

All parts are original except of new tyres. Bike is in great condition and covered about 1500 km since purchase. I've found this bike to be an excellent all rounder, it gives a very stable and surefooted ride feeling (i was never able to properly ride no-handed before but on this bike i can do it easily). Takes tyres up to 38 mm wide or 35 mm with mudguards. Stem is either stock 90 mm or Deda 115 mm.

Asking 500 euro ono. Can include following items for an extra price:
    1. Almost new Michelin Pro4 Endurance V2 28 mm tyres, covered 200 kms max - 30 euro.
    2. New Fizik Aliante VS K:IUM black/red saddle which i've bought from Briando on this forum - 60 euro which is what i've paid for it.
    3. New SKS Chromoplastics P35 mudguards, bought from Briando as well - 20 euro

Second bike is Fuji Tahoe 29 1.5 2018 mountain bike.
    https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/fuji-tahoe-29-1-5-mountain-bike-2018/rp-prod164356

Size is 21", geometry can be found here: https://www.fujibikes.com/usa/bikes/mountain/xc/tahoe/tahoe-29-1-5

Upgraded with new grips and BrandX Ascend XL 150 mm dropper seatpost. Bike was ridden 3 times - 2 times on an off-road trail and once in a park with a child seat, total mileage is less than 100 km so in as new condition. Frame is low enough and stock 80 mm stem can be swapped to the shorter one if needed.

    Asking 700 euro ono.

For reference my height is 185 cm (6'1") and both bikes fit me perfectly. I'm located in Ennis but can travel a bit and hopefully will be in Dublin on some days in August. I'd prefer to sell bikes only if i find buyers for both of them as otherwise selling one of them and keeping another doesn't make sense for me.

Will consider swap for L or XL hybrid bike as well.

    Pics will be uploaded later.

    Price drop:
    Vitus 450
    Fuji 650
Or 1000 for both if someone will take both of them.

Thanks for the offer but it seems there is no interest for mountain bike so I will keep both bikes for now.

Mods, can you close this thread please?

    Hi CramCycle,
Can you make me an offer please if you're interested so we can discuss possible sale date in PM. Where are you located?

I'll be in Dublin on 1st August evening and also on one day between 6th and 9th August (don't know exact date yet).

Have to wait for my wages to come in so I can't make you an offer until the 2nd week in August, sorry, have to see what shape I am in then.

boomdocker, it's a bit on the low side i'm afraid, bike is really in great condition, there are just few small scuffs on shifters and seatpost but besides of that it will look like new after cleaning.

I have a counter offer for you - for 500 euro i'll also include everything i have for this bike:
    1. Second set of tyres (Michelin Pro4 Endurance V2)
    2. New Fizik Aliante VS saddle
    3. New SKS Chromoplastic mudguards which fit tyres up to 28 mm (currently installed mudguards are SKS Longboard up to 35 mm tyres)
    4. Second stem
    5. All spare tubes i have
    6. One set of new brake pads

These extras are worth more than 100 euro, i just don't want the hassle of selling them separately.

I'm afraid though I'll have to wait until MTB is sold (or at least i get an offer). As i said before i need to sell both bikes to replace them with hybrid bike.

Aren't you interested in mountain bike by the way? I can offer a great price if you'll take both bikes.

    Ok - thanks

My offer is firm @€;400, not interested in the other stuff or the mtb I'm afraid.

Been looking for a new bike with a budget of around €400. Interested in the Vitus and would be willing to pay up to €450 upon inspection, provided you'll still be in Dublin tomorrow evening?

leftandright, thanks for the offer, but i think i need to sell mtb first as it's much harder to sell it than Vitus. My last day in Dublin in this year will be 13th August and, if i get an offer for mtb by that time, i'll be able to deliver both bikes (if you will still need it).

    Picture of the fizik saddle?

You say it's new but you bought it from someone else on here? So buyer would be 3rd owner?

Can't understand what the order in which they sell has to do with anything? A buyer looking for an mtb is going to want an mtb, Ditto for the gravel bike.

Anyway, you have an asking of 450 on the vitus and a guy offering that full asking, but you'd rather hang on to both bikes??

Yes, it is brand new, i've bought it from Briando in one of these threads:

    I'll take the picture tonight.

I need to sell both bikes as due to my personal reasons it doesn't make sense for me to sell only one of them and be left with another bike - the idea was to replace both bikes with single hybrid bike. It doesn't matter which bike should be sold first but i see no interest for MTB so i'm keeping gravel bike for now until i get any offer for MTB. Maybe i should try to sell it on donedeal/adverts as it seems there are mostly road cyclists on this forum. Sorry for this mess, i know it looks bad now (guy is offering bike for sale but not letting it go), if i knew about lack of interest in advance i'd sell MTB elsewhere and then post gravel bike here.

Anyway, i'm waiting for news from CramCycle now and will decide what to do after this.
