Is there anywhere that I can bring a sample and have the colour made up in a rattle can ?

I bought a car that was resprayed in a non-standard colour and I need to get some made up to touch up some parts.

    Thanks

    Ken

Motor factors possibly but you're probably better off checking with local bodyshops

    Or

Don't bother with vinnie byrne's, I think they've lost interest to be honest. The last time I used them I was really disappointed. I ended up going to Car Paint out in Blanchardstown/ Ballycoolin, very helpful and far more interested in my business. Way better match too.

Thanks lads, I emailed Vinney Byrne’s but got no reply yet.

That place in Blanchardstown might be worth a go. I presume they have some way of scanning the original paint?

    Thanks

That place in ballycoolin is open on a Saturday as well. They matched mine very well. I'll see if I can root out a picture

Did you ask the guy that painted it for the code?

The lad I bought the car from isn't the one who sprayed it so he doesn't know. It was one of the many questions I asked before I bought it.
I'll call the place in Blanchardstown tomorrow. I presume it's this place ? http://www.carpaintdirect.ie ?

    Thanks again.

Just used Vinnie Byrne for the second time, delivered in three days and a perfect match. I'd be very cautious about using the likes of Halfords.

Yeah that's the place. They have all the necessary gear. The last time I used them was for a flat colour for a Morris minor. I gave them a piece of trim and they matched it perfectly.
