There is more info on their web site H E R E .
They have wifi and instructions on how to use it inside the pdf.

I am looking at getting one as my second charger here, let you know how that goes next week.

Oh, the wi-fi module is literally a Raspberry Pi.

If the picture on their own website is accurate. It’s got something in one of the USB ports, which I assume is whatever software makes it tick, but the hardware is a Pi.

    To be investigated.......

You're right - it's a Pi (and heavily marked up).
There's a tiny USB key in the USB port.

It's a nice-to-have for setting up the charger and configuring RFID cards but not essential.

No app - it's all web-based. You go to http://chargebox.webel.se/chargebox.asp?lang=en and login (or just go to the Raspberry Pi's IP address):

So, interestingly enough I got a Garo charger last week and I had the same question beforehand. I called their sales line to check out the details as the Irish site is, frankly, devoid of data about the devices, while the Swedish is somewhat better. There was no point in asking the likes of Kellehers Electrical as they don't have the detail about the technicalities such as the OCPP protocol.
Anyhow the sales guy in Garo had to go get the details about the WIFI module and call me back. But alas it seems that there is little justification in getting it at ~e200 as it only enables the gui (as above) and allows you to modify the charger settings such as the charging speed etc, so for a residential installation where I am not managing a series of these it's just not providing any benefit to me.

Now back to the Raspberry PI... the Garo main-board on the model of device which I bought does not have the header pins present to connect the PI, but it 'looks' like a standard PI 40-pin/IDE header but as far as I recall the PCB vias were all solder-filled, meaning that you would have to reflow the damn thing to get a header installed...

That's understandable. I was under the impression you could track energy usage through the web interface but it's not there right now - from chatting to the installers, it seems to be available on other models and might be enabled in firmware later.

    Exactly like 10 10 20 said
    Waste of time
Also two different variants one wit one without the header
    Guess which I've got ....
