Ford Kuga to Mondeo

Hey all I will be test driving a 172 Mondeo on Monday that is 1.5 diesel. I currently have a 2.0 151 Kuga. Apparently both have the same BHP. Will I find the Mondeo underpowered?

Yes. They’re a dead duck until you get them up to 80kmph. Had a few close calls pulling out at roundabouts etc. there’s just no power down low.
They’re a grand quiet comfy car though. Get the 2.0 150ps instead.

Your Kuga might be the same peak hp but the torque and power curve for the two engines are very different.
