PhoneWatch Alternative

    Hey All,

I've been a loyal customer with PhoneWatch since 2002 and today there was a power cut in my area. I came home and my alarm system was dead with no lights on the panel. Once the power was restored, my alarm began to arm as if I was leaving the house. I rang up PhoneWatch and was quoted €150 to replace a battery in their equipment which they have never serviced once!! I was appalled by the ridiculous fee and have decided to look elsewhere.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a trustworthy alarm system please?

    Thanks :)

I'm presuming you don't have the new phonewatch system.
On the older systems most good installers would be able to look at this for you. But without a service contract you are probably going to be looking at €100 + anyway.
