Hi folks, my cat was (I think) ran over...I didn't see what happened. He staggered in the back door. Vet thinks it may be a broken pelvis:confused:. Xray is €200. I know it's a long shot......anyone have a rough idea how much this is going to set me back ??? I know I sound shallow. I know kitty in good hands and he'll be ok. He was fully conscious (and vocal)!!

It really depends on what the X-Ray finds/how bad the damage is. You can ask the vet if they do a payment plan? I know a friend had to do that before when her dog needed emergency surgery, they let her pay it off monthly.

EDIT: Also, glad your kitty is in good hands and hope he makes a full recovery.

Alas no. His pelvis is shattered. Surgery is possible but extremely costly and further surgery likely. We had to say goodbye :( broken hearts this evening

RIP sweet angel! You will be greatly missed by all who loved you so much.

@runningbuddy, you did all you could for him and for the time he was allowed with you, you both were happy. He will be next to you forever, even if you don't see him.
