Hair transplant - hair colour

    Hi all,

Just wondering from anyone who’s had it done or has knowledge on the subject?

I’m really thinking of getting a hair transplant. I’ve been told I’m Type 3 vertex on the Norwood scale if that makes sense to people. I haven’t noticed any major hair loss...nothing in the shower and has never really seen any of my hairs lying around but it does feel like I’m thinner now than when I was 25...I’m 33 now.

I’d like to be able to go out and not worry about my temple area, and genuinely hate wearing gel but need to in order to hide the temple area.

What I’m wondering is first of, my temple area hair is a lighter colour to the rest of my hair(including doner site)so how would that work?

Also I know it’s advantageous to shave your head but is it possible to not? And just shave the diner area?

And lastly is it very important to take the hair loss medication after? I’m really eager to get a transplant but I’m not keen that take any of the stuff that helps keep your hair.

Any help would honestly be very much appreciated
