No mention of this, is very good. Clever. Characters/story is building across every ep.

Cinemax make some amazing stuff that just hardly seems to gain any traction. Quarry was one of the best TV shows I'd seen in years, and bombed with audiences. Very interested in this but feel like I'm going to wait to see it's fate first before getting invested. Be nice if S1 ended on an acceptable resolution rather than a cliff hanger, worked perfectly for Quarry which means it's still easy to recommend the show to others.

I loved Quarry too. Couldn't believe it wasn't retained for a second season. The end of the first episode still sticks with me. That song!

Stumbled across this when I came home from the pub a bit tipsy and the missus was watching it. Very enjoyable I have to say.

Just got up to date with the series today and all set for what should be a banging finale tonight.

A great fun violent show just what Cinemx are best at.

A great fun violent show just what Cinemx are best at.

The RT blurb is bang on:
Carla Gugino shines in JETT, a stylish -- if overtly violent -- noir that benefits from its willingness to crank its genre set-pieces up to eleven.

It takes a while to get going narrative-wise because of the way its edited- to aid the noir feel- and for secondary characters to be fleshed out, but it's very enjoyable from the start. Once it hits it's stride though, it's one of the best shows out there. Unpredictable in a good way as well.

Jett is a little too cool-as-ice sometimes, but this adds to her being totally believably seriously kick-ass.

Saved the last episode a little while to savour with anticipation. It didn't disappoint. It's ending demands a second series. As stated above, it's from the same stables as McQuarry, which was great as a standalone, but this show is a class act, and has to continue.

The poster for Jett, with the name maybe, is hardly inspiring. The fact that the blurb for it says that it's noir might also put people off. And yet on RT- 93% Tomatometer, and 87% Audience score. I haven't seen it advertised, though I mainly stream anyway.

When watching the first 2/3 episodes, it might give the feel of style over substance, but the series snowballs into a weighty crime thriller.
