Petrol estate with pace

Currently in 2015 octavia vrs estate diesel. No longer doing mileage for a diesel and looking to change to an equivalent sized/spec'd petrol.

Initial search is pointing towards focus st estate or seat leon cupra estate(either 290 or 300bhp).
Not considering octavia vrs petrol as I want a different car. Yes will result boot space but I can live with that.

Any other options or opinions on the focus or leon. Looking at cars in €28k bucket.

I think the Leon Cupra ST is the nicest of the estate versions of the Golf, Leon, Focus, etc. You could look into something like a BMW 330i/340i estate either but you'd need to go to the UK for one of those unless one popped up.

Yep the Cupra ST looks to tick all the boxes. I see a few for sale in Dublin, must make an appointment. The 300bhp comes in AWD!

Importantly it'll tend to be better value than most.
