Would love some opinions on which one you’d pick if choosing between the following

All are priced at €14,950 in a main dealers.

    Skoda Octavia 2016 1.6 style spec 110bhp
    80,000 miles road tax €180

    Skoda vrs 2013 2.0 170bhp
    80,000 miles road tax €390

    Audi A4 technik spec. 2013 2.0 136 bhp
    56,000 miles road tax €200

Like all three but not sure which I’d pick.
Miles high on the ‘16 but reflected in price
In terms of enjoyment from driving I presume Audi and vrs are better
Sensible option probably ‘16 Octavia in terms of tax, mpg

    Thoughts welcome

Before the Skoda fan club get in

Have you driven all 3 or just looking at them online.....

Is there an option to not go for any of them? The VRS in particular seems overvalued for what it is.

Do you need a diesel is the other question?

Sorry should have mentioned that too. I’m doing 90 miles a day (week days) so would need diesel alright I suppose

Budget would be up to €15,000

Well start with the Audi but if doing that mileage I would be going A6, 5 series or nice Merc....

At least have some luxury and comfort while driving

    What year is the A4?

    Sorry didn’t notice I’d left out year on A4, it’s 2013

From doing the same journey in both the 1.6TDI and 2.0TDI Octavia (both 2011), the 2.0 got better fuel economy every time. The 1.6 has to be worked harder to maintain progress.

The VRS is probably the old model as the 2013 to current model has 184PS

90 miles isn't a huge amount could be done comfortably in most modern superminis and the op shortlist has both

I’m not exactly sure what a super mini is?

You could comfortably do the trip in a supermini

Cars on the list are comfortable

    That’s the jist

Personally if I was doing that mileage I would be buying a nice luxury car, when I was doing high mileage I had an A6 and it was brill....lovely to drive and made a long commute not as horrible as it can be, you are doing it 5 days a week.....why bother going with a newer plate and less comfort? its not like either car will be worth much at the end of it with such high mileage

Not my opinion, only translating for you.

Having just finished up in your shoes, comfort should be as important a factor as reliability, price and cost to run. I'd a Volvo S60 for the last few years which was simply excellent even if it was the older model. The 2011 to 2018 model isn't as comfy but still a good car. If I was continuing the commute this year I would have upgraded and one of these would have been on my list.
