    Completing forms for bank, is a holding company an active or passive NFE? It's a normal trading manufacturing group.

    The company is not trading itself and only holds stock of trading entities. Any income will be coming from the trading entities.

    Im inclined to say it's an active NFE as the entites it owns are all trading? Although it's not trading itself and merely a holdco.

    Greatly appreciate an opinion.
