Dentist for nervous patient

Hi all! Can anyone recommend a good dentist possibly in South Dublin area?

I have an awful phobia of going to the dentist since getting a wisdom tooth removed years ago. As a result my teeth are in a bad way pretty sure gum are bad too. Have a new wisdom tooth coming up now and it's really painful.

I want a dentist who will be nice and reassuring not one that will just list everything that is wrong with my teeth in a disapproving manner.

    Thanks!

As someone who had a fear of dentists since I was 15 and had a tooth removed badly with no anesthetic, I can assure you that the VAST majority of dentists today are good and there is nothing to worry about.

For your own sake please just go to a dentist. There is no need to fear anything, talk to them about your phobia and I think you will be surprised how reassuring and competent they can be.

I let my teeth go for too long and it took me many years and a lot of money to put them right.

It is never as bad as you think it is.... good luck and don't worry.
